Bartın Directorate of National Education is a local authority in charge of formal and informal education in the whole city and responsible for running and checking all the educational activities.
Our institution provides education for pre-primary, primary, secondary schools and adult learners with a team of approximately 2800 staff.
Being a rural region, most of the people live in the villages and this context causes some problems such as feeling socialy excluded, leaving school earlier, lack of motivation and enthusiasm for personal development.

We aim to reduce the problems resulted from having different backrounds and increase the interest for self-development, self-expression and self-esteem of the learners and thus create equal chances for every member of the society with the help of this project.
